New tie rods are on and tires mounted. Car handles so much tighter but might need alignment.
We had a relatively sunny day for a change in CO so I drove up to conifer/evergreen. The water is still seriously high!

oh looky, another Coloradan, we appear to be many on Oppo :)
I like your Monaro, definitely look good with the revised, vented hood

Nice. My good friend has an 06. I've driven it in anger and its a fun car. Actually, it's a really good car. Wish they had followed it up with something.

Yeah the G8 GXP was just a little too big... I think- the CTS-V coupe is the closest thing I can relate it too. Absolutely love loping it along just as much as I love thrashing it.

Thanks, that's the OEM 2006 hood on there, maybe its the upgraded lights that seem revised. I am thinking about changing out the kidney grills and adding a splitter though.
I've seen quite a few Coloradans on here! I hope we get a nice stretch of weather here in the fall.

I thought the first release in the US had a non-vented hood

It did, but that was in '04. They changed to the snorkel hood in '05
